The J330058 is a high speed square body fuse designed and tested to IEC 60269-4 and VDE 636-23. It features superior cycling capability and is suited to protect power inverters, motor drives and UPS systems.

The J330058 is formerly known as a Ferraz Shawmut fuse.
Semiconductor protection fuses are used to protect against overcurrent in power electronic equipment. Semiconductor fuses are specifically designed to reduce the I2t, peak let-through current and arc voltages during a fault to protect and isolate semiconductor components such as diodes, thyristors and SCRs.
