GD Rectifiers shortlisted for Engineering & Manufacturing Awards
GD Rectifiers is thrilled to be a finalist in the Engineering & Manufacturing Awards 2023
Manufacturing & Engineering Award
The shortlisted finalists have been announced for the 2023 Engineering & Manufacturing Awards (EMAs), a major new celebration of UK industrial expertise.
The EMAs received over 150 entries for the inaugural awards showcasing the very best that UK engineering has to offer, and GD Rectifiers are delighted to be shortlisted for the Engineering Impact Award for our work on the Crossrail project.
Paul Bentley, GD Rectifiers Managing Director commented on the awards,
“We are absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted in the Engineering & Manufacturing Awards for the Engineering Impact Award. Over the past decade GD Rectifiers has transitioned from being the go-to independent distributor to a leading manufacturer and all-round custom power specialist. It’s been a great journey for us, and we’ve worked on some pioneering projects. It’s a great achievement to be shortlisted for this award and I’m delighted our team are getting the recognition they deserve.”

The awards are organised by leading events and publishing business MA Business, and powered by industry titles such as The Engineer, Eureka, New Electronics, Machinery and Manufacturing Management magazines. The EMAs were established to celebrate people, teams, companies and projects at the forefront of UK engineering and to champion the role that engineers play in addressing solutions to the industry’s most pressing challenges.
The EMAs expert judging panel will review the shortlisted entries through the summer and the final winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square on 13th September 2023. Tickets to the awards ceremony can be booked online here.
