Semikron will soon be introducing the first silicon carbide IPM to its established SKiiP family. SKiiP 4 SiC enables high-power converters for solar and ESS, green hydrogen and more with lower overall costs. Semikron’s new intelligent power module allows customers to take advantage of SiC without incurring the development costs, sourcing issues and risks associated with deploying the latest power semiconductor technology.
The SKiiP 4 SiC is equipped with driver, current sensors, protection functions and heatsink and comes qualified, assembled and 100% tested. Multiple MOSFET suppliers and flexible current ratings are possible.
