Low Voltage UL, CSA Branch Circuit Fuses

Bussmann’s low voltage fuse range offers time-delay, fast-acting, finger-safe and rejection type fuses. Bussmann’s low voltage UL and CSA branch circuit fuses are used in a wide range of applications including: specialised circuits, industrial control, small control transformers and electrical panelboards.

Medium Voltage Fuses

Bussmann’s medium voltage fuses are safe, reliable and cost effective. They offer unparalleled short-circuit interruption capabilities and are used by electrical utilities and switchgear manufacturers throughout the world.

BBU, Boric Acid Fuses for power transformers, feeder circuits, distribution transformers, metal enclosed and pad mounted switchgear.

British Standard IEC Fuses for use on the primary circuit of three-phase 50Hz transformers in oil field switchgear.

DIN Dimensioned IEC Fuses for transformer protection or motor protection.

E-Rated Fuses for transformer primary protection, feeder circuit protection and metal enclosed switchgear: 2.5kV, 5.5kV, 8.3kV, 15.5kV.

Fast Acting Fuses for medium voltage instrument protection and circuit protection.

PT Fuses for medium voltage potential transformers, small medium voltage service transformers and small medium voltage control transformers.

High Speed Fuses 

Eaton’s Bussmann series offers six types of high speed fuses, including: British Standard fuses, compact high speed fuses, DFJ drive fuses, ferrule fuses, North American fuses and square body fuses.

British Standard high speed fuses range from 6-900 amps, compact high speed fuses range from 50-400 amps, DFJ drive high speed fuses range from 15-600 amps, ferrule high speed fuses range from 1-100 amp, North American high speed fuses range from 1-4000 amp and square body high speed fuses range from 10-7500 amp.

High Voltage Fuses

Bussmann’s high voltage fuses start from 1000V but their core HV range starts from 3.6kV up to 36kV. Bussmann’s high voltage fuse links feature a M-effect design to enhance performance, ensuring the fuse link runs cooler in service and that the maximum temperature reached during fuse operation is kept down to 160°C.

Square Body Fuses

Bussmann’s square body fuses provide superior protection in light and harsh DC traction applications as 1200Vdc and below circuits, and as DC link/power converters. Bussmann’s square body DC fuses feature excellent DC performance and low arc voltage and low energy let-through along with low watts’ loss and superior cycling capability.
