It’s been a busy year at GD Rectifiers and the last few months have been no exception. Join us as we run through the UK’s leading distributor’s Top 5 highlights of 2016.

GD Rectifiers Get Social

August saw the launch of GD Rectifiers’ Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ pages. In 2016, the UK’s leading distributor started to embrace the social landscape and have now launched a YouTube channel where they share the work from some of their recent projects. Exciting Projects

GD Rectifiers have been busy working on some interesting projects over the last few months, collaborating with market leaders across the automation, rail, medical, industrial and electronics industries. Follow their YouTube channel to find out more.

Spotlight on…

In recent months the spotlight has been on Paul Bentley, Managing Director of GD Rectifiers. He has appeared in numerous magazines including: CIE, Power Electronics World and New Electronics sharing his outlook on the future of distribution, and announcing new product launches and collaborations.

Bloggers Get Techy

GD Rectifiers have been working with bloggers to examine the semiconductor components used to manufacture their favourite everyday products. Beauty and the Bird recently featured GD Rectifiers in it’s Electronics Gift Guide, proving bloggers want to get techy.

Looking Back on 2016

2016 has been a successful year for GD Rectifiers, it saw them partner with IXYS RF to extend their distribution rights to Europe, making GD Rectifiers the only distributor to supply the IXYS RF range to both the UK and Europe.

They also partnered with API Capacitors to launch the world’s first ultra low temperature capacitor which is being rolled out early 2017.

The company relaunched their power electronics blog which now features product launches, company updates and collaborations, industry news, manufacturer releases and promotions. The blog can be found on the GD Rectifiers website, under the news section.

This year GD Rectifiers have continued to work with pioneering companies to develop component solutions for their wide range of products. LED Lighting has become a focus within the industry and GD Rectifiers have been leading innovation across the power electronics market.
