Introducing GD Rectifiers broad range of semiconductor clamps
GD Rectifiers manufactures a wide range of high-quality clamps and controllers for semiconductors. GD Rectifiers offers three types of clamps for semiconductor capsules: box clamps, bar clamps and spring bar clamps. In addition to the standard semiconductor clamps available, GD Rectifiers can also design and manufacture clamps to a specific customer requirement or application.
GD Rectifiers clamps are specifically designed to meet the requirements of all semiconductor manufacturers to optimise maximum performance from devices and are even used in the company’s heat sink and power assembly builds.
Box Clamps
Designed to be used with puk/capsule style high power semiconductors requiring single-sided cooling. Box clamps use internal spring washers to ensure the correct force is applied when the four corner bolts are tightened ensuring the box clamp is in contact with the heatsink.
Bar Clamps
Predominantly designed for use with puk/capsule style high power semiconductors requiring double-sided cooling. Bar clamps act as a visual indicator to ensure the correct clamping force has been applied.
Spring Bar Clamps
A traditional spring bar and indicating clamp system comprises of large disc cell clamping devices, specially developed for double-sided applications of commonly used press pack semiconductors.
All of the materials and components used in the manufacturing of these semiconductor clamps are carefully selected and quality controlled, ensuring compliance with the requested specifications.
