1.6VA Transformer
Primary: 0-240-415V @ 50/60Hz
Secondary: 10V-0-10V @ 1.6VA (10.40V-0-10.40 open circuit)
Isolation test 4KV rms between primary and secondary. The transformer has been designed and manufactured to meet the requirement of BSEN 61558-1.
Phase Angle Firing Circuits & Power Modules
AFM11 Phase Angle Firing Module
The AFM11 single phase or phase-to-phase trigger module uses variable phase angle control with adjustable signal matching, integral current limit input and adjustable soft start. The pulse train output is reliable and universally applicable to resistive or inductive loads. These are typically used in complete power assemblies for controlling thyristors, triac or hybrid diodes on single phase to neutral, or phase-to-phase supplies, within the line voltage limits.
FC11AL Phase Angle Firing Module
The single phase or phase-to-phase firing module uses variable phase angle control with adjustable signal matching and adjustable soft start. The power transformer is remote for increased reliability and wide operational voltage capacity. A typical application is an AC resistive or inductive loads via a triac or thyristor, on a single phase to neutral or phase-to-phase supplies, within voltage limits and a half-wave vibrator control.
FC11AL/2 Phase Angle Firing Module
This single phase firing module with integral 26A triac, uses variable phase angle control with adjustable signal matching and selectable soft start. The power supply transformer is remote for increased reliability and wide operational voltage capabilities. The FC11AL/2 controller governs the amount of power supplied to the load, by controlling the AC supply. This firing module is suitable for most AC resistive loads with current ratings up to 25A when fitted on to a suitable heat sink.
MAT Phase Angle Firing Module
The MAT is a variable phase angle triac trigger module, it is a compact and tamperproof unit capable of driving all typical triacs on 230/110V AC regulator circuits. The unit has an inclusive manual control potentiometer and minimum output trimmer built in an industrial panel mounting enclosure. The MAT phase angle firing module is suitable for most AC resistive or inductive loads via a triac, on a single phase to neutral supplies, within voltage limits.
MPC 34A Multi-Mode Mains Controller
The MPC34A provides accurate and precise mains control in both burst fire or phase angle control modes of operation. This printed circuit board firing circuit is capable of driving an external triac or thyristor pair power devices for any load rating. The MPC34A is used in all resistance heaters including ovens, electric furnaces, moulders, dryers, smelters, heating, tapes, stress relieving, space heating and heating mantles.
PAC2 Phase Angle Firing Module
The PAC2 module is a 25A, 230V AC phase angle, full wave controller in a compact and easy to install package. The PAC2 regulator governs the amount of power supplied to the load, by controlling the phase angle of the AC supply. The low thermal impedance and high electrical isolation provides the equipment designer with great flexibility in a wide variety of applications. The PAC2 module is suitable for most power control applications such as infra/red quartz and ceramic heaters and lighting. It can also be used on inductive loads such as transformers and AC motors.
PATFC Phase Angle Triac Firing Circuit
The PATFC is a thick-film hybrid firing circuit, which gives phase control and helps drive an appropriate triac power device to suit most load applications. The PATFC is used in all resistance heaters including ovens, electric furnaces, moulders, dryers, smelters, heating tapes, stress relieving, space heating and heating mantles.
PCR-240-1 Phase Control Regulator
The PCR-240-1 is a thick-film, hybrid, phase angle power controller circuit with 250W power capability. Its simple 3-pin connections make it versatile and useful as a low cost power controller to suit small load applications with the addition of a potentiometer and suitable filter. The PCR-240-1 is used in most applications, including: resistance heaters, including ovens, electric furnaces, moulders, dryers, smelters, heating tapes, stress relieving, space heating and heating mantles.
ZAX27A Multi-Mode Mains Module
The ZAX27A provides accurate mains control in both burst fire or phase angle control modes of operation. This printed circuit board firing circuit is capable of driving an external triac or thyristor pair power devices for any load rating. The ZAX27A is typically used in all resistance heaters, including ovens, electric furnaces, moulders, dryers, smelters, heating tapes, stress relieving, space heating and heating mantles.
ZFM32H/300 EMC Suppression Filter & Mains Conditioner
Phase angle power controllers generate radio frequency interference during each half-cycle of the mains waveform when the power is switched on. In sensitive applications this interference, or interaction with other equipment, must be suppressed to comply with the current Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations. The ZFM32H filter protects against three main surges and spikes and prevents load noise feedback.

BFM-240-25A Variable Burst Fired AC Regulator
The BFM-240-25A is a mains supply, 25A AC energy regulator for proportional linear manual control of resistive loads using variable on/off bursts of complete main cycles energy, coincident with mains zero crossover.
BFM-TH Burst Firing Trigger Circuit
The BFM-TH is a hybrid burst firing trigger circuit, which generates virtually no RFI or arcing. Its simple 7-pin connections make it versatile and useful as a low cost firing circuit.
BFTM-1 Burst Firing Trigger Module
The BFTM-1 single phase burst firing trigger modules are designed to drive United Automation’s full range of thyristors and triacs. The BFTM-1 is a single phase or 2-wire format capability.
BFTM-3 Burst Firing Trigger Module
The BFTM-1 is a three phase burst firing trigger module, it is designed to drive United Automation’s complete range of thyristors and triacs. The BFTM-3 has a one-phase supply controlling three phase loads in star or delta configurations.
BM-1 Burst Firing Trigger Module
This burst fire control module incorporates the unique mono-linkä, gate-to-gate firing feature which uses single path hard firing for each phase thyristor pair, eliminating cathode firing connections.
BM-2 Burst Firing Trigger Module

The BM2R 380/500VAC 24V AC/DC input driver module has been designed to offer single-cycle/dual-cycle firing thyristor controllers driving resistive loads. The CM-FC36 commander module is a remote ‘Human Machine Interface’ programming and display console. It incorporates a simple keypad to input data and a console that displays all the functional information relating to the firing circuit settings.
DMFC-36 Single/Dual Cycle Burst Firing Circuit 380/500VAC
