Switchable Current Regulators
Switchable current regulators are versatile devices designed for use in communications, networking, and power conversion circuits. These devices allow designers to simplify their circuits by requiring less components, providing a lower cost and limited space solution.
Switchable Current Regulators
Versatile range of switchable current regulators designed to suit a broad range of applications
Switchable current regulators are versatile devices which usually consist of resistors and various other discrete active components, and are predominantly used throughout high performance analog and mixed signal circuits and systems. A family of current regulators (both non-switchable and switchable) can be used to create minimum component, high performance power supplies, active noise filters, network protection and a dynamic range of class A amplifiers.
Switchable current regulators are used in applications that require a high-current source, the switch mode regulator reduces wasted power. They are used in a wide range of applications, including: start up circuits for SMPS, highly stable voltage sources, surge limiters and voltage protection, fast reacting resetable fuses and soft start-up circuits.
At GD Rectifiers, we offer a range of IXYS switchable current regulators designed to suit a broad range of applications.
