The IXTN79N20 Linear Power MOSFETs are required to ensure substantially high thermal and electrical stresses due to the simulaneous occurence of the high drain voltages and currents; these extreme stresses can cause typical devices to fail. The Linear Power MOSFETs have been designed to address these devie failures providing a larger operating window.
