W330184 NH DIN and British Standard BS88 Fuse 690V, 125A
The W330184 DIN and British standard fuse provides maximum flexibility in equipment design and protection for small power conversion equipment.
- Ultra-fast acting aR fuse
- Control arcing characteristics
- Non-magnetic hardware
- Flexibilty in equipment design and protection
- Protection for semiconductors
These ultra-fast acting aR fuses have been engineered to provide state-of-the-art protection for a wide range of semiconductors, including diodes, thyristors and IGBTs.
Conforming to IEC 60269-4, they are assembled with die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand which helps control arcing characteristics for a lower I2t and high interrupting rating level. All contact surfaces are silver plated and the hardware is non-magnetic. The fuse links can be equipped with a low voltage trip indicator which can operate a field mountable microswitch.
Semiconductor protection fuses are used to protect against overcurrent in power electronic equipment. Semiconductor fuses are specifically designed to reduce the I2t, peak let-through current and arc voltages during a fault to protect and isolate semiconductor components such as diodes, thyristors and SCRs.
