DV/DT Suppression (RC)
At GD Rectifiers, we manufacture a large range of Dv/Dt snubber networks suitable for most power devices including drive and motor applications.
RC Snubber Networks
RC snubber networks are used to control voltage transients that can often falsely turn on a thyristor, which are known as snubber networks. Snubbers consist of a series resistor and capacitor placed around the thyristor. Partnered with the load inductance, this forms a series CRL circuit. If not used properly, snubbers can provide unreliable circuit operation and cause damage to semiconductor devices.
At GD Rectifiers, we manufacture a large range of Dv/Dt snubber networks suitable for most power devices including drive and motor applications.
