Regulators
GD Rectifiers offer a range of single phase and three phase regulators designed to control the level of voltage or current of a device, utilising solid-state semiconductor technology.
Regulators automatically convert voltage in to DC, maintaining a constant voltage level, using either a feed-forward design or negative feedback. Our voltage regulators are used in a wide range of motor vehicles to match the output voltage of the generator to the electrical load and charging requirements of the battery. We also supply regulators to manufacturers of electronic equipment where excessive voltage variations are critical to the products performance.
We offer two types of single phase fully controlled voltage regulators: W1C and W1H.
Single Phase Regulators
Fully Controlled Voltage Regulators – W1C
Available with – fitted line fuses, indicators, micro switches, Dv/dt suppression, MOV overvoltage suppression, hi/lo thermal trips, water cooled options, higher voltages, IP20 enclosed and trigger circuits.
Half Controlled Voltage Regulators – W1H
Available with – fitted line fuses, indicators, micro switches, Dv/dt suppression, MOV over voltage suppression, hi/lo thermal trips, water cooled options, higher voltages, IP20 enclosed and trigger circuits.
Three Phase Regulators
Fully Controlled Voltage Regulators – W3C
Available with – fitted line fuses, indicators, micro switches, Dv/dt suppression, MOV over voltage suppression, hi/lo thermal trips, water cooled options, higher voltages, IP20 enclosed and trigger circuits.
Half Controlled Voltage Regulators – W3H
Available with – fitted line fuses, indicators, micro switches, Dv/dt suppression, MOV over voltage suppression, hi/lo thermal trips, water cooled options, higher voltages, IP20 enclosed, standby fans and trigger circuits.
