API Capacitor’s extensive R&D (research and development) capability and high voltage, high current test laboratory has been used by several large aerospace contractors to prototype and type test high temperature capacitors with customised packaging for both in-plane and ground based aerospace applications.

API Capacitors have the capability to undertake FMEA and reliability analysis and advanced mechanical and electromagnetic and electrostatic modelling.

API have experience with high energy density units for automotive applications and extremely high density, low life units for use in motor sport. API Capacitors are not a high volume standard product supplier and we do have the capability to produce samples for prototyping and they are familiar with automotive PPAP approval systems.
